I’ve added screencaps of last night’s Castle to the gallery. I hope everyone enjoyed the episode. I thought it was pretty good. It was nice to see other characters get a little spotlight, as well as our front runners. Enjoy the caps!

CASTLE – “The Dead Pool” – When a champion swimmer and Olympic hopeful is found dead in a training pool, Castle & Beckett dive in to investigate his murder, and uncover myriad secrets that might have led to his death. Also in the episode, crime fiction authors Michael Connelly and Dennis Lehane guest star, offering Castle their insights into the case over a game of poker, on “Castle,” MONDAY, APRIL 11 (10:01-11:00 p.m. ET) on the ABC Television Network.
Warning: There are some spoilers included in the bottom half of this article. Read at your own risk.
Looks like there will be a lot going on in the upcoming Castle episode “To Love and Die in LA”. TV Guide has just revealed who will be playing Detectives Ryan and Esposito counterparts in the Heat Wave movie. Ryan Deal (left) and Justice Gamble (right) will play Detectives Raley and Ochoa in the fictional big screen. While we will not see Natalie Rhodes in this episode – a total shame, if you ask me – we will finally get to meet Detective Heat’s partners.I am curious about who is playing Rook, though, and why all this mystery surrounding him. This LA episode would be an excellent opportunity to meet him. Oh well, maybe that means that there is yet another LA trip to be made next season for the Heat Wave premiere.
In other casting news, D. B. Sweeney will also guest star on this already highly anticipated episode. He will play LA Detective Kyle Seeger, who works for the Robbery Department. Apparently, he is going to question Castle and Beckett because – guess what – those two are going rogue. Again. They just never learn, do they?
One last piece of info on the case they are working on: it was Beckett’s former partner that was murdered. Now add that to the fact that the vic was also her mentor; it’s looking more and more that this is Mike Royce, which would explain Beckett’s sudden urge to do a little investigating of her own.
For someone who is supposedly a by-the-book detective, Kate Beckett certainly likes to go rogue a lot, doesn’t she? I guess Castle really is rubbing off on her.
