Tonight’s ‘Castle’ Will Have You On Edge Of Your Seat With Suspense
Warning: The following article contains spoilers. It’s best not to read, if you wish to remain spoiler free.
Are you the kind of active viewer who yells things at the television while tuning into the newest episodes of high drama? Well, then prepare to have a sore throat in the morning because tonight’s episode of Castle is a doozy!
“Knockdown” is the episode that oh so many Castle fans have been not-so-patiently waiting for because of an on-the-set photo that leaked a few weeks ago featuring [potential spoiler alert] our beloved crime-fighters in a lip-lock. Sorry for the spoiler if you haven’t seen the photo yet, but even if you have…well, it’s not quite what you think.
But regardless, the episode is so much more suspenseful than just counting down to that intimate, soon-to-be-infamous “couple” moment.
Within the episode, Beckett (Stana Katic) gets a call from one of the officers assigned to her mother’s murder. He asks to meet her, implying that he has some information he has never before shared. Of course she goes, and because she and Castle (Nathan Fillion) have become such a great team, she brings him along. Unfortunately things go awry and not because he gets overtly excited at being let in to such an important part of her life.
Beckett’s quest for information soon becomes an all-new homicide investigation, one of which she is pulled off due to her closeness to the subject matter. In fact, she is relegated to her apartment, placed under detail, and left to her own devices to stew and try to get answers alone. Well, not entirely alone. Castle comes to help once again. At this point, neither of them can really ignore that his presence is much more than just for research for books that at this point have already been written. But they can’t quite acknowledge it fully yet either.
“Knockdown” is a highly suspenseful episode, much more akin to season two’s “Tick, Tick, Tick…” and “Boom” rather than some of the lighter, more comedic, snarky fare that the show has dealt in more recently. There are moments you may find yourselves holding your breath– for both the intense emotions between Castle and Beckett as well as the potential danger in which your favorite characters find themselves (um, if you know there is a sniper involved in a case you’re investigating, WHY would you sit in front of the windows in your apartment??); there are moments you will find yourself yelling about their actions (did you not read the part about sitting in front of the window?); and there will be moments you will even cheer a little. Or a lot. And either way: loudly.
This is what “must see” TV is all about, people!
You can preview the episode a bit further through the slideshow to the left but set your DVRs for ABC at 10pm now. Castle raises the stakes tonight, and you won’t want to miss a minute.

Omega Timepieces Worn By Stars Of Castle
Television drama stars Nathan Fillion and Kate Beckett have both been spotted wearing Omega watches in Castle
A couple of television stars have sported Omega watches as part of their outfits in a popular drama series, timepiece fans may have noticed.
First, Nathan Fillion wears a rare Omega Seamaster 120m as part of promotional shots for Castle, Watch ID reported.
This timepiece is recognisable for its stainless steel finish and a display which works by combining both digital and analogue screens.
Some other appealing elements of this Omega watch include a chronograph, alarm, second time zone, date, day and timer, to name but a few.
Meanwhile, an Omega Speedmaster Professional has been donned by Stana Katic during her role as Detective Kate Beckett during the first three seasons of the show.
The product comes with a bold yet stylish black dial and matching black leather strap, which allows it to stand out when on a television screen.
Katic has also been spotted in the past sporting an Omega Speedmaster with an elegant diamond bezel, Watch ID also reported.

Castle: New TV Guide Article
After two and a half seasons of banter, bullets and bad guys, Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) finally lock lips on tonight’s Castle (10:01/9:01c, ABC). And, according to exec producer Andrew Marlowe, it was the crime drama’s passionate viewers who played a role in making the smooch happen. “This is something we felt building in the fans,” says Marlowe. But this doesn’t mean the pair’s sexy tension is over. “We’re certainly aware of the Moonlighting curse,” says Marlowe. “We want to be smart about what we do so the fans can continue to have a rooting interest in this relationship.”
The intimate moment occurs after new information comes to light about the murder of Beckett’s mom. “You’ll learn more about why she was killed and who the forces were behind it,” explains Marlowe, adding that the mystery will be explored again later this season, possibly in the finale.
As for Castle and Beckett going undercover… don’t hold your breath. “They’re not going to be in bed in the next episode,” Marlowe says. “I think what the fans long for isn’t necessarily what they want all at once. They want to watch the dance.”

Batman Arkham City Villains Confirmed
Though, we already know about Stana being a part of this, I’ve decided to post the blurb about her character in the game, anyway.
Talia Al Ghul
Actor Stana Katic, confirmed via her Twitter account she’ll be voicing Talia al Ghul, daughter of Ra’s al Ghul. “Just recorded a character voice on the next Batman videogame. Never did that before.”
In her youth, Talia travels the world with her father learning and adapting his intellect and skills which she proves to be more competent than any of Ghul’s other children. She excels to the point in managing his criminal and legitimate operations, that she is eventually appointed as Ghul’s primary secondary despite the fact that Ghul considers women to be inheritantly inferior to men. Ghul is supportive of his daughter though has commented that if possible, he would correct “that sole failing” in his child suggesting that he fears any possible distortion of her through chemical or biological modifications despite his aversion to her as a woman.Source: here
According to GameStop, the game is set to release on October 3rd, 2011. It will be available on XBOX 360, PS3, and PC. You can pre-order the game now, here at their site.

TV Addict Top 5 Reasons You Don’t Want To Miss Monday’s Castle
Warning: This article contains spoilers. Do not read below, if you wish to remain spoiler free!
TV Addict Top 5: Slightly Spoilerific Reasons Why You’re Not Going to Want to Miss Monday’s Killer CASTLE
1. The Opening
While it probably won’t come as much of a shock that an episode of CASTLE kicks off with a character death, what might is the victim’s somewhat surprising connection to both Beckett — and more importantly for the sake of an episode that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat until the final bullet flies — Beckett’s mother.2. The Team
Are you one of those CASTLE fan who have been clamouring for more screen time for Ryan and Esposito? Well today, or to be more specific, Monday, is your lucky day. Suffice to say, Television’s favorite bromance plays an integral role in Monday’s case. That’s the good news. With the bad news being that Ryan and Esposito’s excellent detective skills may play a little too integral role. Cue collective Gulp! in 3… 2… 1…3. The Question
Remember that cold killer open we mentioned earlier in the post? Rest assured, you won’t be the only one. Particularly after a titular hero’s brush with death makes headlines, causing a certain concerned parent to sit her boy down and finally confront him with the the slightly awkward albeit painfully obvious question: Why exactly does an author who wrote 22 best-selling novels before he met a certain someone now find himself spending every day at a police station, and risking his life in the process?!4. The Stakes
Sights are set, shots are fired, and to put it as blunt as we can without give too much away, Beckett’s obsession with getting to the bottom of her mother’s murder may cost her far more than she ever imagined.5. The Kiss
And since no post on Monday’s CASTLE would possibly be complete without a bit of intel on the most anticipated kiss to hit the small screen since House and Cuddy locked lips, Castle and Beckett fans will be happy to discover that said lip-lock doesn’t disappoint. To the point that one of the lip-lockees will utter the words, “that was amazing” when it’s over.
